There are many benefits to becoming an Eaton Rapids Area Chamber Member:

Special Advertizing Opportunity – The Eaton Rapids Area Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that we have secured an agreement with WILX Channel 10 for our Chamber members to advertise on television for a discounted rate. Your television ad would run from November 22nd through December 20th for a cost that includes production of your advertisement. Non Chamber members can advertise as well, however they will not receive the Chamber member's discounted rate.

If you are interested in taking advantage of this advertising opportunity, please contact Tom Staudt from WILX Channel 10 at 517-394-9330 by November 8th. This offer is on a first come-first served basis. Act now...only 20 businesses can participate!
Chamber News – Bi-monthly newsletters are published which includes advertising opportunities and article submissions. Newsletters are distributed to both members and non-members with a circulation of over 1,200 annually.
Member Mixers – Held at the member’s requested location to increase their visibility along with an opportunity to meet new customers. A brochure on Hosting a Successful Mixer is available at the Chamber Office. Both members and non-members are invited to attend.
CRG Directories Listing – Members receive a bolded listing along with an ERACC logo in the Eaton Rapids directory each year which is published by CRG Directories.
Insurance Discounts – Chamber members may qualify for a group discount from Ackley-Peters-Haubert Insurance Service for their personal and/or commercial insurance needs. Contact Rick Acker at 663-2651 for details.
Business Roundtables – The Chamber hosts educational programs and seminars to allow educational opportunities of interest for the members. Both members and non-members are invited to attend.
Annual Dinner – An excellent networking opportunity held in April. Also, a recipient for the Ted Oliver Community Service Award is selected and honored during this Dinner, among other community awards. Members and nonmembers are invited to attend.
Annual Golf Outing – In August, the Chamber hosts a Golf Outing. An excellent opportunity to network and have fun. Both members and non-members are invited to attend.
Annual Hometown Family Christmas – This event is held the first Saturday in December in conjunction with a Silent Auction which is a benefit to all the Chamber members and the community.
Chamber Website – An excellent member benefit for members to link their email addresses and/or website addresses for new and existing customers. The Chamber website is updated on a regular basis to keep the community informed on upcoming events.
Marketing Tools – Chamber members may display business/organizational information, brochures, business cards to be shared with members and the general public. Kiosks are located in high traffic areas for maximum exposure to these marketing tools.
Health Insurance Plans – The Chamber has developed an agreement with the Michigan Chamber Services, Inc. to provide members with the most comprehensive employee benefit plans available at the lowest possible cost. Contact Scott Norman at 517-371-7692 to obtain a quote.
Business Development – Access to the Michigan Small Business & Technology Development Center (MI-SBTDC) which is a statewide network of 12 regional offices providing services for small businesses. All services of the MI-SBTDC are available at low or no cost. Call 1-877-873-4567 or visit www.misbtdc.org for more details. In conjunction with MI-SBTDC, the services of the Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE) is available.. SCORE is an organization that offers free business counseling and advice to new and existing businesses by calling 517-487-6340 or visiting www.score-lansing-mi.com.
Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce (LRCC) – The Chamber Board of Directors entered into a partnership with the LRCC to increase member benefits to our members. Chamber members will be included in the LRCC Annual Membership Directory as well as a full page dedicated to the Chamber for added exposure to our members. Chamber members will also have an opportunity to advertise in the directory, it is strictly voluntary.
