 
Hometown Family Christmas Festivities
Coming December, 2012
The Eaton Rapids Area Chamber of Commerce plans an entire day of family Christmas activities in December, 2012, including bands, choirs, children's characters, Santa, food, crafts and more. Make sure you invite your friends from other communities to visit our beautiful Island Park that will again this year be decorated by the Island of Lights committee with Holiday lights.
The day ends with the event that brings thousands to downtown Eaton Rapids every year, the Holiday Lights Parade! The parade again is on course to be the most spectacular event of the year, with illuminated floats, bands, children's characters, and of course Santa.

 The Eaton Rapids Area Chamber of Commerce (ERACC) will begin planning for the 2012 Hometown Family Christmas. This event brings many residents and civic groups together to provide a full day of holiday activities. It also brings thousands of people to Eaton Rapids every year to spend the day attending all the activities and light parade. It’s one of the events that hundreds of children look forward to every year because this is the day “Santa Claus is coming to our town.” The ERACC would like to ask for your support this year to make this year’s event the “Best Ever.” With the understanding that the economy is weighing heavy on everyone, we ask that you consider giving what you can.
Detailed information on all the events planned and sponsorship information will be published in various local newspapers and will continue to be published prior to the event. This is a family event and many activities are planned for the children, including a fun-filled parade, which is a very important part of this event.
